Can I run an edelbrock performer carb on a stock pontiac manifold without any modifications? I can't tell.

I'm assuming you don't have both parts readily available, or you'd just drop it on and see right?

Call and ask. 800-416-8628 tech line.

It would have to be a spread bore model, if the Poncho originally had a Rochester carb. Also, most carbs are factory tuned for a SBC so you might have to adjust it a bit.

Thanks! Looks like I will have to get an adapter.

It might be easier to get a spread bore Holley if you aren't married to the idea of an Edelbrock. No adapter needed.

My edelbrock performer came with both square bore and spread bore patterns, so you should be able to. Either call (tech line takes forever) or if you go online to summit or wherever you're buying it from, it'll tell you if it has a square bore or spread bore or both bolt pattern.

I believe Holley's double-pumper fits the stock manifold, I'd have to double check.

Thanks! I just bought and installed a square bore to spread bore adapter.

That works too!
